Does anyone know how to fix the tether issue to have a greater distance than 160m I have tried moving the slider in the settings but doesn't seem to do anything. You can try making a dedicated server, you would just need a spare PC with about 10 GB of ram. That is called a host tether, and it applies to all singleplayer games when someone joins. Your friend won't be able to go too far away from you before the game plops him down where you are.
