Look at the caps for a bleed resistor that wore out and blew up. The arc is just the caps discharging via the gun & wire. Fix Until Broke.

12-06-2010, 10:23 PM. I own a mm200. Even with the spoolgun it is a PIA. Really you will never be able to drive .035 alum thru the liner, even if you find a teflon liner. I tried and tried and cried. Decided to buy a new gun, I believe the original gun for the MM200 was a GA-20C and according to this site it says a Miller M-25 is compatible.The gun is worth $600-$650....the welder is a little rough on the edges...but its a 25 year old commercial machine.
